Warmer Days Are Back! Thursday PM Forecast Update #alwx @wvua23

7 Day -SHELTON STATE Forecast - Offset Lows - PM.pngGood Thursday afternoon! After another cold start to our Thursday, this afternoon turned out really nice! Temperatures made it well into the 50s today, with some spots south of I-20 approaching 60. Expect lows in the lower to middle 30s tonight.

Friday will feature warmer air, with temperatures reaching the lower 60s. Skies will remain mostly sunny on Friday. The warming trend continues for the weekend, with temps in the upper 60s on Saturday and Sunday. With the warmer air comes moisture, so we’ll notice an increase in clouds over the weekend. There could be a few showers, especially on Sunday, but I don’t expect rain everywhere.

Monday through Thursday of next week looks rather wet, with a southwest flow aloft developing. Expect periods of rain for much of next week, but temperatures will remain mild.
