Storms Dissipating + Dangerous Heat Tomorrow… Saturday PM Forecast Update #alwx @wvua23

Storms moving through West Alabama will dissipate and move out around dinnertime. The severe thunderstorm watch over most of Central Alabama will expire at 6pm. After this you can expect a quiet and dry evening.

Feels-like temperatures can reach up to 112 degrees tomorrow! Most of the state is experiencing dangerous heat due to hot temperatures and thick gulf moisture. Make sure to limit time outdoors and stay hydrated. The excessive heat warning will continue for Central Alabama until Sunday night at 9pm.

Relief from these scorching temperatures and muggy conditions comes in Tuesday morning. A cold front sweeps through with some storms possible. After this, temperatures drop into the upper 80s for Wednesday with lower humidity!

The Atlantic Basin is quiet hurricane-wise right now.
