Even Warmer Tomorrow, Cloudy by Tuesday… Sunday Eve Forecast Update @wvua23 #alwx

7 day -shelton state forecast - offset lows - pm

What another gorgeous day! High temperatures topped out in the upper 60s for this Sunday and I’m expecting even slightly warmer temperatures for tomorrow. The sunshine will persist for Monday, but skies will change heading into Monday night. Increasing cloud cover Monday night will bring a slight chance for isolated showers and light drizzle through Tuesday morning. Rainfall amounts will be very low and will not be widespread. Though do plan on a rather dreary day for Tuesday, with only a few peeks of sun in the afternoon.

On Wednesday, skies will clear, but behind the front will come much cooler air. Our high on Wednesday will drop nearly 15 degrees, taking us back to normal for this time of year. Thursday morning will likely have the first freeze of the new year, when I expect temperatures to bottom out in the upper 20s.

Heading into next weekend is going to be our next major rain chance, most likely on Saturday. Clouds will increase on Friday, with the highest rain chances during Saturday morning and midday. Though, some showers could linger into Sunday.
