Severe Weather Issues Ending Fast… Wednesday Update 8:50 am

Untitled

Good Wednesday morning! As of 8:50am, severe weather issues have ended for most of west Alabama. While rain is still falling over much of west Alabama at this time, the severe threat is on the leading edge of the rain. As of 8:50am, the damaging wind portion of the storms were located in a line from Birmingham to Brent to Marion to Linden. Areas west of this line will have no issues with severe weather for the rest of the day.

If you live east of the cities listed above, you’ve got a risk of isolated wind damage or a quick spin-up tornado between 9am and 11am. You can see the map above, where I’ve noted the area of possible severe weather issues for the rest of the morning. The line will reach Montgomery by 11am.
