Few Scattered Storms Ahead… Hot Days… Monday Forecast Update – #alwx @wvua23

Good Monday evening! We’ve had scattered showers and storms today across Alabama, with some spots dealing with very heavy rain and other spots not a drop. Expect the chance of isolated showers and storms to diminish later this evening tonight. Mild and muggy conditions will continue overnight.

Tuesday will feature very similar conditions. We’ll reach a high in the lower 90s, with a good chance of a few scattered showers and storms. I think the coverage of storms will be a little more limited compared to today, but keep the umbrella handy.

The best chance of scattered storms on Wednesday and Thursday will be south of I-20, with the chance much more limited to the north. Highs will top out in the lower 90s both afternoons, with a heat index around 100.
