West Alabama Weather for Tuesday, December 27

A bitter cold start expected for Tuesday in West Alabama. At 9pm, the Tuscaloosa airport is reporting 28 degrees.  We should see temps fall to the 17 – 22 degree range in most areas of West Alabama. A few locations may dip to 12 – 15 degrees north of Tuscaloosa. 

We will see a gradual warming trend this week with temperatures reaching the 60’s by Thursday  We will also see rain chances back as well.  The best chance of showers right now appears to be Wednesday evening into early Thursday…then again Friday evening into Saturday…just in time to kickoff the new year!

West Alabama Weather for Monday Evening

A Hard Freeze Warning is in effect tonight for West Alabama. Look for temperatures to fall from the current 41 degrees in Tuscaloosa to the upper teens by tomorrow morning.  Many areas north of Tuscaloosa will fall to the 13 – 16 degree mark by morning.  Remember to protect those plants and pets…and check on elderly friends and family.
