Nice Weekend Ahead… Friday PM Forecast Update #alwx @wvua23

Good Friday afternoon! Our local weather has been very windy today, as a cold front passes through the area. Winds will become light overnight, with temperatures falling into the middle 50s.

Skies will remain partly cloudy to mostly sunny on Saturday. Clouds will be a bit more widespread to the north of Tuscaloosa and Birmingham. Temperatures across north Alabama will struggle to reach the lower 70s, with areas south of I-20 reaching the upper 70s to near 80.

Mother’s Day on Sunday is looking nice. We’ll start the day in the lower 50s at daybreak, then approach the lower 80s during the afternoon.

Next week will feature temperatures approaching the lower 90s! Tuesday through Friday, temperatures will top out between 88 and 92 each afternoon.
