Cooler for Now… Warmer Tomorrow Afternoon and this Weekend… Tuesday PM Forecast Update #alwx @wvua23

UntitledGood Tuesday afternoon! Pretty much on target, we dealt with a round of rain and storms this morning, quickly ending from west to east by late morning. There were some reports of damaging wind gusts here and there across west and central Alabama, with the tornado reports happening well south of our area in south Alabama.

Temperatures are a bit cooler today and we’ll fall into the lower 40s, with some 30s north of I-20 tonight. Look for a return of sunshine on Wednesday, with a high in the upper 60s to lower 70s. 70s will be more likely over west Alabama to the south of Tuscaloosa.

70s return area-wide on Thursday and Friday, under a partly cloudy to mostly sunny sky. Models keep our area mostly dry through the weekend, with only a small chance of an isolated shower or storm over the weekend. I expect a better chance of showers and some storms on Monday.
