Good Wednesday afternoon! We are waiting on our next wave of rain to approach from the west this evening, with a soaking moderate to even heavy rain in spots to take place. Rain will continue for much of the day on Thursday before ending sometime Thursday afternoon. Rain amounts will reach 1 to 2 inches in most spots, with some areas near and south of I-20 picking up over 2″.

Temperatures will remain chilly tonight and Thursday, with steady 40s area-wide. We’ll drop to 30 Thursday night, with a light north breeze.

Temperatures are back in the lower 50s on Friday, under a sunny sky. We’ll reach the upper 50s on Saturday, with a sunny sky, but a freeze and frost is expected Saturday morning, with widespread upper 20s.

Clouds increase late Sunday, with perhaps a stray shower after sunset. We’ll deal with occasional showers on Monday.
