Warm Days Ahead Before Cool Down This Weekend… Tuesday Night Forecast Update #alwx @wvua23

WARM DAYS, COOL NIGHTS AHEAD… Wednesday and Thursday will be similar to Tuesday with high temperatures in the 80s each day across central Alabama. Mostly sunny skies are expected each day with clear skies overnight. No significant weather issues are likely through Thursday, other than patchy areas of dense fog being possible in the early morning hours.

NEXT CHANCE OF RAIN LATE FRIDAY… A cold front will approach Alabama from the northwest late in the evening hours of Friday. Showers, and perhaps a few thunderstorms, will happen out ahead of the front. While vast majority of the high school football games on Friday across Alabama will be dry, I can’t rule out a few showers over west Alabama. Rain will become more widespread during the early morning hours of Saturday.

COOLER ON SATURDAY AFTER COLD FRONT… We go from a high temperature in the upper-80s on Friday to highs in the low-70s on Saturday after the passage of the aforementioned cold front. Overnight lows by Sunday morning will be in the upper-40s!

MORE RAIN POSSIBLE NEXT WEEK… Early model indications point to an unsettled pattern as we go into the early part of next week with multiple days of showers and thunderstorms being possible starting Tuesday.
