Storms Continuing Tonight, CoolerDays Ahead. Saturday Forecast update 9pm @wvua23 #alwx

7 Day -10PM SHOW.pngWell it was another hot afternoon today with Tuscaloosa tying the old high record of 97 today set back in 1954. Jasper the hot spot on the map hitting 104 today!! Fortunately some showers and storms moved in this evening to cool things down a bit and now we still have some storms lingering. Expect a few showers overnight but most will begin to dry out by midnight. Lows will drop back into the low 70s.

Tomorrow will be a little cooler only reaching into the upper 80s with times of sun and clouds and afternoon into the evening showers and storms returning ahead of a cold front that will move through on Monday.

This front will make it’s way in Monday morning and we will only see highs in the upper 70s for the day! The rest of the week moving to around seasonal temperatures as well with highs in the low to mid 80s. More widespread storms will occur on Monday with the front but not going to be a huge maker with areas seeing roughly half an inch.
