Dry Weekend…Rain at Times Next Week. Friday Forecast Update #alwx @wvua23

Sevenday_640 (6).jpgGood Friday afternoon! Although this morning was not as cool as yesterday morning, many areas across Central Alabama at daybreak were mostly in the 60s, which is below average for this time of year. Expect highs to top out in the lower 90s and dry conditions to remain throughout the rest of the day. Lows tonight will be in the upper 60s and humidity levels will remain rather low.

As we go into the weekend, not much is going to change, except for a slight increase in humidity levels. Expect rain-free conditions on Saturday and Sunday with highs in the lower 90s.

On Monday, moisture will begin to increase across several of the western counties that will allow for a few pop-up showers to develop during the afternoon. However, these rain chances are rather low and will remain isolated.

The best chance of rain will be on Tuesday as a disturbance moves through the state, so plan on more scattered showers and storms throughout the day. Highs will remain in the low 90s, but expect it to feel more like the mid and upper 90s as humidity levels continue to rise.

Rain chances will then trend back to widely scattered and isolated showers or storms for the rest of next week, so expect conditions to be much drier.
