7 Day -10PM SHOW.pngHappy Sunday! Showers and thunderstorms are still popping up around central Alabama right now but most are moving through areas quickly and will start to diminish for the night tonight.

Lows this evening will drop into the low 70s but with dewpoints also in the low 70s it will remain muggy and dewy for the night and early morning tomorrow. Monday will see more showers here in the state with highs still below our average for this time of year in the upper 80s flirting with the 90s. Shower and storms will be possible in the more afternoon hours as well as overnight.

Monday night into Tuesday early morning a cold front will move through central Alabama. This will increase rain chances overnight Monday and showers and storms will be possible for your day on Tuesday as well.

Behind this cold front temperatures will cool down and only touch in the mid 80s Tuesday and Wednesday. Conditions will also start to dry out in Alabama on Wednesday and Thursday, giving you the perfect afternoons to enjoy the day outside with cooler temperatures and plenty of sunshine.

Moisture returns back into the state on Friday as southerly flow from the Gulf sweeps in bringing rain chances back into the forecast for your weekend.
