Good Tuesday afternoon! Our local weather started off mild this morning, with a mix of sun and clouds through the afternoon. Most spots warmed into the upper 80s to lower 90s this afternoon, which is close to average for late June. Expect temperatures to drop into the 70s overnight, under a partly cloudy sky. A few scattered showers and storms are possible overnight, but most remain dry.

We’ll maintain a chance of scattered showers and perhapse a storm or two on Wednesday, but most remain hot and dry. The risk of rain is at 40% on Wednesday. We’ll reach a high in the lower 90s.

Thursday and Friday will feature a reduction in the chance of storms. I can’t rule out an isolated shower or storm during the afternoon hours, but most stay dry. Highs will reach the lower 90s, with lows in the low 70s.

There will be a slight increase in the number of scattered storms this weekend, but again, this is not a widespread rain event. A few storms that develop could produce briefly heavy rain.
