Sunshine Returns to Start Your Week! Saturday forecast update #alwx @wvua23

7 Day -10PM SHOW.pngAfter a muggy day across the state most areas in Central Alabama have been left unscathed. There was a few hail and wind reports coming from Elmore county but we all saw a good amount of lightning today.

Tonight lows will drop back into the lows 60s with a few lingering showers as a cold front moves through the area. Tomorrow will start off cloudy and as the day progresses the sky will start to clear a bit and you will see times of sun with highs reaching into the low 80s. High pressure will move in and we will stay sunny and dry through Tuesday.

Wednesday is when things will change as a trough sweeps into the state allowing for scattered showers and thunderstorms to be possible all the way through Saturday.

Going to be a warm week though! Our average high for May sits around 84 degrees and we will be above that for almost half of the week!
