Warm Days Continue…PM Storms Thursday… Tuesday PM Forecast Update #alwx @wvua23

7 Day Forecast - Offset Lows - PM.pngGood Tuesday afternoon! Our local weather turned out very warm today, with most of central Alabama reaching the lower to middle 80s. Cirrus clouds continue to increase, as high altitude moisture increases over the southeast. Expect temperatures to slowly fall tonight, with a low in the upper 50s by sunrise Wednesday.

Wednesday will feature more sunshine than clouds, with temperatures reaching the lower to middle 80s during the afternoon.

A weak upper air disturbance will provide the needed uplift to get a few showers and storms to developing. We’ll top out in the upper 70s on Thursday, due to extra clouds and storms. The best chance of storms will arrive Thursday afternoon and overnight. Severe weather is not expected.

Next weekend will be very warm, with temperatures reaching the middle 80s. Skies will be sunny on Sunday and Monday.
