Showers End Tonight.. Becoming Sunny for Easter Weekend…Friday PM Forecast Update #alwx @wvua23

ASDFAFA.pngGood Friday afternoon! As the upper level low moves over Alabama today, clouds and showers remain in place. Showers will will gradually move out of the area tonight, as the upper level low pulls away. Temperatures will drop into the lower 40s tonight.

Saturday will be a tough day to give a specific forecast due to the wild variation between west Alabama and east Alabama. Clouds will decrease over west Alabama by mid morning, allowing for temperatures to approach 70 near the west Alabama state line. Areas east and and north of Birmingham will be slower to clear, with many areas across central Alabama remaining in the mid 60s all day.

Easter Sunday will start off chilly, with a sunrise temperature of 46 degrees. We’ll reach a high near 80 during the early afternoon on Sunday.

Sunshine remains with us with warm temperatures for the first half of next week.
