Dry Days Ahead… A Bit Warmer By the Weekend… Thursday Afternoon Forecast Update #alwx @wvua23

Good Thursday afternoon! We had some tiny snow flurries across much of central Alabama early this morning and continued into the afternoon for east Alabama. Some areas reported enough flurry activity to get a white roof and car, especially north and east of Tuscaloosa. Dry air has taken over and skies are clearing out from west to east this afternoon. Temperatures remain very cold! Many communities didn’t reach 40 today. Expect a freeze and frost overnight, with a low in the upper 20s to near 30.

Skies will be sunny on Friday through the weekend. Temperatures will gradually rebound, with upper 50s for highs on Friday and middle 60s this weekend. Temperatures at night will return into the lower 40s this weekend.

Heading into Thanksgiving week, I expect a good stretch of dry weather. Highs will remain in the 60s all week, with lows in the 40s. At this time, conditions look good for Thanksgiving day!
