Dry Weekend Ahead… Warmer Temps By Sunday! Friday Afternoon Forecast #alwx @wvua23

Good Friday afternoon! Our local weather started off damp across our area, but drier air continues to take over this afternoon. Only a few areas of drizzle continue but mainly in east Alabama. Expect a mainly cloudy sky tonight, with temperatures dipping into the upper 40s.

We’ll include a slow return of sunshine on Saturday, with a high in the middle 60s. A breezy west wind will continue on Saturday.

Sunshine is back on Sunday, with a high in the upper 70s. Some spots could push 80 degrees on Sunday. We’ll remain mild through Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of next week. The next rain chance will come late Wednesday into Thursday of next week, which may  be an issue for the Halloween plans. If the forecast changes, we’ll update you.
