Dry Now, Rain Later This Week. Forecast Update 6pm @wvua23 #alwx

Good Tuesday evening! We saw a pretty mild day across the state today with a few high clouds hanging over our area. South Alabama saw some rain but overall a nice day. Tonight expect a cool evening with temperatures dropping into the mid 40s with partly cloudy skies. Very dry conditions right now as dewpoints sit in the 40s! I like to call this a “keep chapstick in your purse,” day!

Tomorrow the day will start off cool as you head out the door, but be sure to layer up because we will reach into the low 70s tomorrow afternoon with a good dose of sunshine. Clouds will start to increase tomorrow night in preparation for some rain on Thursday. This rain will be the remnants of a hurricane moving across Mexico right now, but we will NOT see hurricane conditions here in Alabama.

A few showers are possible Friday and Saturday but we will start too cool back off into the 60s this weekend in time for the start of the work week on Monday.
