Good Friday afternoon! Our local weather turned out very warm today, with highs generally in the lower 80s. Clouds continue to increase this afternoon, but the rain will hold off until Saturday morning in our area. Local high school football is looking great this evening, with temperatures dipping into the lower 70s. Expect overnight lows in the lower 60s tonight.

Showers will arrive Saturday morning around sunrise for areas north of Tuscaloosa, as a cold front approaches the area. Showers will move southeast, with many areas dealing with a few passing showers before dry air takes over Saturday afternoon. Cooler air will then arrive Saturday eve, with temperatures in the middle 40s for lows Saturday night. Despite the sunshine, temperatures will only reach the middle 60s for highs on Sunday.

After a chilly start to Monday, temperatures will approach 70 by Monday afternoon. Look for a mostly sunny sky. We’ll modify into the mid 70s by the early to middle portion of next week.
