Wet Weekend & Slightly Cooler – Friday Forecast Update @wvua23 #ALwx

As of late Friday afternoon, storms are still moving across West Alabama with frequent lightning and some gusty winds possible. I expect this trend to continue for the next couple of hours.

A weak front approaching the state will keep rain chances high for the next 4 days and help temperatures to stay slightly below average. Showers and storms will pass through Alabama in multiple rounds over the weekend, with most places picking up both sunshine and rain over the course of the next two days.

By Wednesday the rain chance decreases significantly and it looks to be a gorgeous 2nd half to the week with mostly sunny skies and temperatures in the upper 80s. I also expect humidity levels to be much more comfortable by late week.
