Good Thursday afternoon! After a cool start to the day, this afternoon turned out beautiful. Temperatures are still a good 10 to 15 degrees cooler than yesterday. Skies will remain clear tonight, with a cold night, expect lows in the lower 40s near and south of I-20, with a few spots reaching the upper 30s north of I-20. With a light breeze overnight, there is no chance we get cold enough for a frost.

Friday and Saturday will feature warmer afternoons, as highs return into the 70s. Clouds increase Saturday night. For A-day in Tuscaloosa on Saturday, look for lots of sunshine, with a high near 77.

Rain overspreads the area on Sunday, with a widespread event expected. Rain amounts could approach 2 to 3″ in many spots. A few showers linger into Monday as well, with more of a widespread rain over east Alabama on Monday. Highs will top out in the upper 60s to near 70 on Sunday and Monday.
