Cold Again Tonight… Warmer Days Soon! Tuesday Forecast Update – 5:20pm #alwx @wvua23

7 Day Forecast - Offset Lows - PM.png

Good Tuesday afternoon! Our local weather is once again beautiful this afternoon under a sunny sky. Temperatures warmed into the upper 50s area-wide, which is a little below average for mid March. Look for a clear and cold night tonight, with a low in the lower 30s. We’ll have a light freeze for many areas as well as patchy frost. A light breeze should prevent widespread frost tonight.

Wednesday will be similar to today, with ample sunshine and rather cool temperatures. Highs will top out in the upper 50s on Wednesday. Wednesday night will include a final cold night for a while. We will deal with temperatures in the lower 30s. As winds go calm under a clear sky, expect a widespread frost early Thursday morning.

A flow off the Gulf will develop over the weekend, allowing for a moisture return. Expect scattered showers under a mostly cloudy sky. Widespread heavy rain is not expected, but keep the umbrella handy. Highs will remain in the 70s over the weekend.
