Sunday Keeps Great Weather Going. Saturday Forecast Update, 8:45pm. #wxal @wvua23

7 Day -SHELTON STATE Forecast - Offset Lows - PM.pngGood Saturday evening! It was an amazing day weatherwise across the state. Most  of central Alabama saw highs in the 70’s with plenty of sun. The clear skies will carry into tonight. Those clear skies, combined with calm winds, will allow for cool weather tonight and lows dipping down into the mid 30’s. Tomorrow finishes off our weekend with another round of great weather: clear skies, temps in the 70’s, and little to no breeze. Tomorrow night, the forecast starts to change as clouds start to increase.

Monday will start our work week off with clouds and possibly a few stray showers; however, the brunt of the rain will arrive Monday afternoon and last through the night into Tuesday morning, before ending. This front that will be bringing rain will also be bringing a pretty significant cool down for the later half of the work. Just when we thought we could lose the jackets… The remainder of the work week will be dry as temps slowly recover and warm back up. We finally get back to the 60’s, barely, by Friday.

Next weekend will be warm to start, only because of the southerly flow from the advancing trough toward Alabama during the day. After, we will cool back down for Sunday once the rain ends.
