Gorgeous Weekend Ahead! Forecast Update … Friday 4 PM #ALwx @wvua23

If you liked today’s sunny and mild weather, then you’ll love this weekend! Sunny skies are in store for both Saturday and Sunday.

With a northerly wind and clear skies, I am tracking the potential for some frost across our northern counties. Temperatures Saturday morning will be in the mid 30s, with some northern spots reaching freezing. But the abundant sunshine will help us warm up for both Saturday and Sundays.  We will be reaching the upper 60s as highs, some getting to 70 degrees on  Sunday.

Monday afternoon will have a rain chance, especially across Western Alabama. A cold front will move through Monday night and bring up to a half inch to an inch of rain for most of Central Alabama. That rain will linger into Tuesday morning and early afternoon, but clear skies will return by Tuesday night.

Another shot of cold air will arrive behind that front, with another chance for a potential frost/freeze on Thursday morning.

Join us live on WVUA 23 weekdays at 5, 6, and 10 P.M. and weekends at 10 P.M. for the very latest on your news, weather and sports.
