Storms move in this weekend… forecast update 9pm #alwx @wvua23

7 Day Forecast - Offset Lows - PMIt sure does not seem like we are in the winter season! Highs today touched into the low 80s again today. Here in Tuscaloosa we beat another high record. The high today was 83 and the old record was 80 set back in 1980! WOW!!!

Tonight is going to be a dry evening, however, we do still have winds coming from the south bringing in some Gulf moisture and making dew points sit in those 60s.

Tomorrow will be another gorgeous day with a good dose of sunshine and warm temperatures. With daytime heating we may see a pop up shower or two later in the afternoon but don’t worry about rain ruining any plans till Friday night when some showers will move in around 9-10pm.

Saturday will be a pretty muggy day as clouds begin to move in as a front begins to pass through bringing storms at night with a chance for severe weather. The SPC has put out a severe outlook for this day where areas north of I-20 are in a slight risk and south are in a marginal. The chances for tornadoes is still low so don’t worry too much but just stay updated with us because we will notify you the second anything changes.
