Good Friday afternoon! It has been a colder day across Alabama, with temperatures in the 40s for most of the day. We can expect cold temperatures tonight, with a low in the middle to upper 20s across the area. Look for a few passing clouds overnight.

Clouds increase on Saturday, with rain moving in Saturday night. Look for a soaking rain early on Sunday, followed by drier air Sunday afternoon and evening. Highs will top out in the middle 50s on Saturday and nearing 60 on Sunday. Rain amounts will approach 1″ with that event.

We’ll go dry and seasonal for Monday, with middle 30s Monday morning and middle 50s Monday afternoon.

Clouds increase on Tuesday, with mild temperatures. Highs will approach the middle 60s on Tuesday. Showers arrive Tuesday evening, then come to an end on Wednesday. Rain amounts will approach 1/2 to 1 inch with that event. There’s no cold air behind that front, and temperatures will top out in the upper 50s during the day on Wednesday, with 30s Wednesday night. We’ll warm back into the 60s on Thursday and Friday.
