Good Friday afternoon! Our local weather has started off very cold this morning, with many areas in the middle teens. Temperatures made a nice rebound this afternoon, as low 50s returned. Clouds are increasing this evening across Alabama, as mid level moisture moves into the area. Rain is not expected today or tonight. Look for a low in the lower 30s at daybreak tomorrow.

Saturday is looking nice, with a high in the upper 50s. Skies will remain partly to mostly cloudy, but conditions will be dry for the Alabama National Championship Parade in Tuscaloosa. We’ll fall into the lower 40s Saturday night.

Expect more sun than clouds on Sunday, and afternoon highs will respond to the increased sun. Look for upper 60s on Sunday afternoon. Lows Sunday night will drop into the lower 50s.

Showers and storms arrive sometime around lunch on Monday and end Monday night. If storms can hold off until noon or later, we’ll reach the upper 60s on Monday.

Temperatures will return to near seasonal averages for Tuesday through Thursday of next week, with highs in the upper 50s and lows in the lower to middle 30s.
