Nice Days… Cool Nights… Thursday Forecast Update – 4:30pm #alwx @wvua23

7 Day Forecast - Offset Lows - PM.png

Good Thursday afternoon! Our local weather turned out beautiful after a cloudy and damp start to the day. The rain lastnight and very early this morning is long gone, and additional rain is not expected for the rest of today and tonight. Temperatures will fall into the lower 40s overnight, with a light north breeze.

Friday will feature lots of sunshine, with a high in the middle 60s. We’ll drop back into the lower 40s Friday night under a clear sky, then warm into the upper 60s Saturday afternoon.

A weak surface front will move across the area Sunday, but moisture is too limited for widespread rain. I can’t rule out a stray shower or two, but the risk is pretty low. Highs will remain in the 60s on Sunday.

Next week will feature dry days, with plenty of sunshine. Monday and Tuesday’s highs will be in the upper 60s, with lows in the middle 40s. We may return into the lower 70s on Wednesday and Thursday.
