Good Monday evening! As of 4:30pm, a few light showers are ongoing across portions of north and central Alabama, but there is no heavy rain in the area. A few sprinkles or showers will be possible overnight, with patchy fog developing after 10pm. Expect lows in the middle 60s overnight.

Temperatures will warm into the upper 70s on Tuesday, with showers increasing through the day. Look for a good chance of showers by midday on Tuesday for areas near and north of I-20 especially. Rain chances will decrease the further south you go south of Tuscaloosa and Birmingham.

A cold front will slide southward on Wednesday, keeping temperatures a bit cooler. Look for a high in the lower 60s on Wednesday, with a good chance of occasional rain. Showers will move out Thursday morning, with a slow decrease in clouds late in the day. Look for temperatures to remain below average on Thursday, with a high in the lower 60s and lows in the 40s Thursday night. Friday and Saturday will feature a mostly sunny sky as we move into Veterans Day. Highs will top out in the upper 60s, with cool 40s at night.
