PM Storms Sunday… More Fall Weather for the Week Ahead – Saturday 6 PM Forecast Update… @wvua23 #alwx

After another warm weekend, things will once again change in a big way as we approach the work week. A cold front will move across Alabama Sunday night and bring with it quite a bit of rain. Widespread rain and  a few thunderstorms will increase in coverage throughout Sunday night and rainfall totals could top two inches in the northern half of the state. No severe weather weather is expected, but this will be a much needed soaking rain.

Portions of Alabama will begin clearing by Monday afternoon and then the real fall weather moves in. Temperatures statewide will be in the 60s to lower 70s for most of the week with sunny skies. Overnight lows will get pretty chilly later in the week as most locations see the 40s to start the day, and some locations in north Alabama will see some 30s as well.

Join us live on WVUA23 weekdays at 5, 6 and 10:00 P.M. and weekends at 10PM for the very latest on your news, weather and sports.
