Rain and Sun this Week… Forecast update 9pm #alwx @wvua23

7 Day -SHELTON STATE Forecast - Offset Lows - PMWell It turned out to be a very warm day with highs in the upper 80s and some cities touching the mid 90s! Right now in Tuscaloosa feels like temperatures are still in the 80s!

Tomorrow morning will start off on the foggy side with temperatures around 70 degrees. The fog will clear to leave the day with mostly sunny skies and a high around 90. It sure doesn’t feel like fall here yet in central Alabama with highs all week trending in the upper 80s low 90s.

Tomorrow night sky will remain mostly clear with lows dropping back into the upper 60s. Tuesday will be a similar day to Monday but there is a chance for some evening showers so keep an umbrella handy just in case and hold onto it because Wednesday through Friday  showers are possible each afternoon with the greatest chance occurring on Wednesday. Humidity is also a concern this week with dewpoints in the 70s for most of the week!

Irma has passed but we do have other storms developing in the Atlantic. Tropical storm Maria has been increased to a category 1 hurricane and is moving towards the Carrebean and tropical storm Lee was decreased to a tropical depression. Both are still far away so it is not clear how we may be affected closer to home.
