Nice Saturday, Unsettled Week Coming… Friday Forecast Update @wvua23 #alwx

7 Day -SHELTON STATE Forecast - Offset Lows - PM.png

Saturday will undoubtedly be the nicest day of the seven day period. A frontal boundary pushed through earlier today and will sink into south Alabama keeping most of the shower activity down there for the Saturday time frame. Some locations in north Alabama will see a brief influx of drier air, including a shot at some low 60s Sunday morning for areas like Huntsville and Cullman.

The break in the active pattern will be short lived as the front moves back to the north on Sunday. With it will come chances for showers and storms along with hot and humid conditions.

Not every day will be a washout, though a couple days in the next seven very well could be. Expect widespread 3 inch rainfall totals by the end of next week. Enjoy the rain!
