Rain moving back into the forecast… forecast update 6 pm #alwx @wvua23

7 Day -SHELTON STATE Forecast - Offset Lows - PM.pngGood Saturday evening! It was a hot day outside with feels like temperatures reaching into the 100s. We are under a heat advisory until 9pm this evening. Tomorrow will be another hot day to aware of. If you have plans outside be sure to stay hydrated and apply sunscreen.

Scattered storms will move into central Alabama tomorrow afternoon but the day will not be a washout. Some areas will see thunderstorms while others may just see some light rain if any. Tomorrow evening a few showers may linger in the area but most will clear by 10pm to make for a mostly cloudy evening.

Monday and Tuesday rain will be a little more widespread during the afternoon, but again times of sun and storms. Areas that see rain will also see a little relief from that heat and a few areas may struggle to touch those 90s.

By Wednesday rain chances will decrease and few showers are possible each day through Saturday.  Hot and muggy days are to be expected throughout your entire week.
