Dry Days Ahead for Now… Tuesday Forecast Update – 4:15pm #alwx @wvua23

7 Day Forecast - Offset Lows - PM

Good Tuesday afternoon! It’s been another really wet day for most of west and central Alabama, with some areas picking up over 1 inch of rain today. Given the nature of the scattered storms, some of you got a ton of rain while other spots didn’t get much at all. The cold front that will bring an airmass change for the rest of the week is pushing southward through Alabama this afternoon. The front will be south of HWY 80 by midnight tonight, brining an end to the risk of rain.

Wednesday through Friday will feature warm and mostly sunny days, with very comfortable nights. Humidity will be lower, through Friday, which will feel amazing for early June! Expect highs in the mid to upper 80s, with lows in the upper 50s on Wednesday, Thursday ad Friday.

A south wind will return over the weekend, and dewpoints will creep up. I don’t expect any rain this weekend, but look for a good chance of scattered storms by Monday and Tuesday of next week.
