Hot Days… Isolated Storms By Late Week… Monday Forecast Update – 4:30pm #alwx @wvua23

7 Day Forecast - Offset Lows - PM.png

Good Monday afternoon! Our local weather has turned out hot and sunny this afternoon, with temperatures reaching the upper 80s to low 90s. Humidity remains low today, so we can expect another nice evening. Temperatures will drop into the 70s after sunset, with low 60s after midnight. Look for a clear sky overnight…

Tuesday and Wednesday will feature hot days, with highs reaching the lower 90s across most of west and central Alabama. A south breeze will develop on Tuesday and continue through Wednesday, allowing dewpoints to rise a bit. Humidity will greatly increase by late week and into the weekend.

As moisture levels increase on Thursday and Friday, a few pop up afternoon storms will become possible, especially on Thursday. The risk of rain for any one spot on Thursday is at 30% and only 10% on Friday.

A weakening cold front will move into the area by late weekend, increasing the risk of scattered storms by Sunday into Monday. Highs will drop back into the 80s on Sunday and Monday.
