Dry Weather Continues. Saturday Evening Forecast, 7:45pm.

7 Day -SHELTON STATE Forecast - Offset Lows - PM.pngGood Saturday evening! It was an amazing day across central Alabama…if the wind didn’t get to you. Tonight, the winds should pick up more as a secondary low brings a surge of cooler air again tonight. Before the second surge, a small band of showers are traveling ahead. These should break down as they slide into central Alabama. Likely, only our far northern counties will get any rain, if at all. Tomorrow will close off the weekend with conditions similar to today with temperatures in the 70’s, lots of sun, and a light breeze.

Next work week will start off dry as temperatures continue to warm through mid week. Temperatures will peak around Wednesday and Thursday before a low brings in a line of showers, along with a few isolated storms Thursday night and Friday. Temperatures will be limited Friday because of increased cloud cover from the rain.

As we head into next weekend, the low’s coldfront will have passed through: that means we will have cooler air in place. The surge of cooler air will make next weekend feel similar to this weekend with highs in the 70’s and sunny conditions.
