Good Friday afternoon! It was a beautiful day across the state today with almost record high temperatures for many areas. Tonight will be on the warmer side as well with lows in the high 50s and mostly clear skies.
Tomorrow you can expect a similar day to today with highs in the low to mid 50s and plenty of sunshine. Winds will pick up during the day from the southeast around 5-10mph keeping the air feeling a little cooler.
Sunday is Easter!! Your forecast for the day will be nice and mild with highs continuing in the low 80s. Some scattered clouds will move in throughout the day so you’ll have times of sunshine and clouds. There’s a very small chance for a stray shower on Sunday evening but most areas will stay dry.
Clouds will increase more throughout Sunday night in preparation for some storms on Monday. A weak cold front is pushing to our north allowing for some showers to pop up in the state. This cold front will not bring cooler temperatures to the state though. Areas likely to see more rain are the northern counties while more central/southern counties might experience a few less showers.
The rest of the week looking nice and mild with sunshine increasing as you move into next weekend!
