Hot Days Continue Through Easter… Wednesday Forecast Update – 4:25pm #alwx @wvua23

7 Day Forecast - Offset Lows - PM.png

Good Wednesday afternoon! It’s turned out to be a rather hot summer like day, with temperatures reaching the lower to middle 80s across the area. A few tiny showers have popped up on radar, as a weak surface front stalls across the area. The risk of isolated showers will fade quickly this evening, as the sun sets and temperatures cool. Expect lows in the upper 50s overnight, as skies become mostly clear.

Look for plenty of sunshine Thursday through Easter Sunday, with highs in the middle 80s and lows around 60. An upper air ridge is building into the area and will keep things settled for the rest of the week and over the weekend. As moisture increase on Sunday and Monday, I can’t rule out a stray afternoon shower. The risk of a shower is only at 10% on Sunday and 20% on Monday. Highs will remain in the lower to middle 80s through early next week.
