Good Tuesday afternoon! A weak surface front to our northwest is allowing for clouds to increase across central Alabama this afternoon, as moisture and uplift increase. There could be a passing shower or two overnight and into the day on Wednesday, but widespread rain is not expected. Skies remain partly to mostly cloudy at times through Wednesday afternoon.
Upper level ridging will build in by Thursday and continue to keep us rather hot and dry. Highs will warm well into the mid 80s each afternoon Thursday through Sunday. Skies will remain mostly sunny, with no organized rain chance through Easter weekend. Look for temperatures to dip into the upper 50s at night. Another front will try to push into Alabama early next week, and the front may get close enough to produce a shower or two, but widespread rain appears unlikely.
