Mild day across the state. Temperature highs for the day in the upper 70s low 80s. Some areas struggled to reach the 80s due to cloud coverage and a few scattered showers. We had some dry layers move in sucking up moisture and keeping any rain short and light. Clouds are starting to clear some for the evening but by tomorrow morning expect them to move back in, in preparation for a strong system moving in Monday afternoon. The main concern for this storm is ping pong sized hail and strong winds, but a chance for a weak tornado should not be rule out tomorrow evening. The chance for severe weather is minimal for Monday night, but scattered showers will continue into Tuesday.
Wednesday a ridge will move in bringing warmer dry air with a good amount of sunshine and temperatures in the 80s. This nicer weather will be short as another trough quickly moves in Wednesday night with storms on Thursday. These storms have the chance to become severe with large hail, strong winds, and a possible tornado.
Friday afternoon the moist air will start clearing and the air will be a little cooler than we’ve seen this past week with highs only in the mid 70s continuing for the weekend and lows cool in the low 50s Saturday and Sunday morning.
