Good Wednesday afternoon! Despite plenty of sunshine today, temperatures remain chilly. We started off this morning in the middle to upper 20s, with highs this afternoon only reaching the middle to upper 40s. As a surface high moves over our area tonight, I expect a big problem with a freeze and frost. Temperatures will easily reach the middle to upper 20s overnight, with a thick frost expected Thursday morning at sunrise.
A south to southwest wind will develop Thursday afternoon and continue through Saturday. Expect a mix of sun and clouds Thursday through Saturday, but I do not expect any rain opportunities until Saturday. By Saturday, a few scattered showers are possible with a weakening cold front. Look for highs to warm nicely into the upper 50s on Thursday, followed by low 70s in spots on Friday and Saturday.
Sunday will be a tad cooler, but I don’t expect a major drop in temperatures. Highs will return into the middle to upper 60s, with a light north breeze. We’ll warm well into the 70s on Monday and Tuesday, with a return of warm and humid air.
