Rain for Saturday Night, Cooler Week Ahead… Friday Forecast Update 8:00 PM @wvua23 #alwx

The upcoming week will feature one of the cooler periods we have seen in a  good while. We start things off with a cool Saturday, as temperatures keep trending down with clouds and rain possible, especially late in the day. Rain will increase through the evening and will continue to early Sunday. We’re not expecting a super intense rainfall event, just a nice and steady soaking rain Saturday night. Rainfall amount will total about half an inch.

There’s been some talk of snowflakes flying but theres not much to this. It seems most locations will be far too warm for any wintry precip. Locations with the best chance will be towards the Tennessee border, and either way it looks to be fairly low impact.

Next week looks downright chilly in spots, but a warming trend returns late in the week and the spring like weather will be back by next weekend.
