Storms Return, Very Nice Weather Retur by Midweek…. Saturday Forecast Update – 7:00 PM @wvua23 #alwx

Being that it is now spring in Alabama, there’s no shortage of warm weather and storms on the horizon. After a weekend that’s been cooler than what we are used to, Sunday and most of Monday should be fairly nice. Though clouds will be on the increase both Sunday and Monday, increasing moisture will make things feel warm as temperatures top out in the upper 60s and lower 70s. Towards the end of Monday, shower and isolated thunderstorm chances will be on the increase.

Monday night is really where rain chances go up. Moisture will pool in advance of a frontal boundary setting the stage for a round of storms. As the front approaches Monday night and Tuesday storms will increase. At this point, the severe weather threat Tuesday appears rather limited, but this will have to be watched. Some storms may also produce heavy rain.

Once this round of storms gets out of here by Tuesday night, conditions will rapidly improve. From mid to late week afternoon highs will be in the upper 60s and lower 70s making for some perfect days to be outside.
