Good Friday afternoon! The weather today has wrapped up nicely across the state with everyone seeing ample amounts of sunshine to warm things up from the chilly start this morning. Tonight, temperatures will once again turn cool with little wind and clear skies; likely, a few areas north of I-20 will see some patchy frost by early Saturday morning. Saturday looks to be very nice! Temperatures will warm up into the mid to upper 60’s with mostly clear skies. Take advantage of it because Sunday, clouds start to make a return throughout the day. Temperatures will continue to warm as an approaching low pressure system will start to pull in warmer air from the south.
Monday, the start of next work week, will see some isolated showers developing with forcing ahead of the cold-front interacting with the warmer, moist air present by then. Tuesday, a front moves through during the afternoon/evening hours bringing a stronger batch of rain. A few storms will get caught in along the line, but nothing severe. After Tuesday, high pressure ridging builds back in and we remain nice for the remainder of the work week
