Good Thursday afternoon! Our local weather started off chilly this morning, with a nice rebound this afternoon. Most areas reached the low 60s, with a light north breeze. Temperatures will drop quickly tonight, with a low in the lower 30s. Patchy light frost will be possible overnight.
Friday will feature a pleasant afternoon, with full sunshine and a high in the low 60s. With a surface high over the area and a dry airmass, we can expect another fast drop in temperatures Friday night, with a low in the low 30s. Skies remain mostly sunny on Saturday, as temperatures approach the low to middle 60s.
Clouds move in on Sunday, with a mostly cloudy sky expected. As moisture increases, temperatures Sunday night will be a bit warmer. Expect a Monday morning temperature in the low 50s. Showers arrive during the day on Monday, as a warm front lifts northward across the area. A cold front will sweep through on Tuesday, brining a good chance of showers and storms. At the moment, I don’t see an organized severe weather risk with the front on Tuesday, but we’ll watch it.
