Rain Coming Wednesday, Warming Trend Late Week… Sunday Forecast – 7:30 PM Update #alwx @wvua23

After a warm and humid weekend much more seasonable conditions will settle in in the early part of the week. After dry air and sunny skies on Monday and Tuesday, the next big weather maker arrives. A gulf low will be tracking just to our south and will bring a good soaking rain for most of Alabama late Tuesday night through Wednesday. Rainfall amounts could get over half an inch. Being on the north side of the low, it will be pretty chilly on Wednesday. It has all the makings for a pretty raw day as it will be cold, cloudy, and rainy.

Once things start to clear out Wednesday afternoon, we start the warming process all over again. We will top out in the upper 50s on Thursday but will quickly warm up each day after that towards the 70s by the weekend. Next weekend looks warm and sunny and absolutely perfect!
