Severe Risk This Morning Has Ended… 8:40am Saturday Update #alwx @wvua23

At 8:30am, Saturday morning, the risk of severe weather has ended for west and much of central Alabama. The tornado risk has shifted into the Montgomery area, where there are a few tornado warnings. Even that area in the Montgomery TV Market will not deal with severe weather much longer. Rain will end from west to east this morning, with some sunshine possible by midday for some areas. There is the potential for more strong to severe storms tonight and very early Sunday morning. I’ll have more on that later today. Just have a way to get warnings incase severe weather becomes an issue late tonight and early Sunday.
