Good Tuesday afternoon! The warming trend continues today, as the deep upper air trough pulls away from Alabama and Gulf air streams northward. An upper air ridge will be building into Alabama for the rest of the week and through the weekend, so expect a continued warming trend through the weekend.
Temperatures tonight will remain steady, if not rise a few degrees before sunrise tomorrow morning. As dewpoints rise under a cloudy sky tonight, that cold force temperatures to rise a little. A stray shower will be possible tonight and on Wednesday, with the best chance of a few showers happening north of I-20. Highs on Wednesday and Thursday will reach the low 70s, under an overcast sky.
Highs will reach the middle 70s over the weekend, with a little more sunshine mixing through the clouds. Lows at night will dip into the middle 50s Friday night and Saturday night. Rain chances have dropped to 5% or less by the weekend, which means rain is highly unlikely…
